梁敬尉係香港警察嘅一份子。據曾經認識佢嘅人指出，佢2014年參與過雨傘革命，係Facebook曾經發表大量反對警察暴力、話警察係暴徒嘅言論,，而家就去咗做警察，仲暗諷示威者係暴徒。除此之外，佢最近同女朋友求婚，但原來之前拍緊拖嗰時仲周圍同其他女仔調情。

警員以強光及閃光照向記者，記者表明身份後，有一名警員大聲呼喝記者，並聲稱：「你行埋一邊咪唔會照到你囉！我哋做緊嘢丫嘛。你阻住我哋睇緊啲人呀。」然而從片段所見，記者站在的位置是在警察防線的斜前方，而非正前方，相信並不構成對警方行動的阻礙。這涉嫌違反警察通例 (39-05)，警務人員應盡可能協助新聞媒體工作者的採訪工作。
