10 月 7 號晚上在新界馬鞍山新港城中心，在無搜查令下多名防暴警察暴力闖入，保安員嘗試阻擋但失敗，最後防暴警察衝入商場範圍並拘捕最少一個人。備註: 警方於十月九日拘捕年齡介乎 28 至 62 歲的三男兩女，涉嫌「阻礙辦公」，案件由沙田警區重案組第二隊跟進，五人獲准保釋候查。

過份使用武力，未依足程序開槍、催淚彈：防暴警察在影片20秒至48秒射出催淚彈，在鏡頭中，未見示威者的出現攻擊警方或衝擊警方防線的行為，可是警方沒有停止使用武力，還在短短28秒內起碼射出十發催淚彈，涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。而過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，亦可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。
