有網民發起全球反極權大遊行，大批市民在銅鑼灣聚集，警方中午開始在附近一帶戒備。下午2時許，立法會議員朱凱廸一度與警員理論，又指警員向他施放胡椒噴霧，市民用生理鹽水為他沖洗。警方在駱克道帶走兩名年輕人搜查，其後放行。獲放行的其中一人表示，自己甚麼都沒有做就被警員搜查，質疑是否穿黑衣就要被搜查。另外，有大量防暴警員進入銅鑼灣港鐵站內，部分警員進入車站室。
