防暴警察在面具和盾牌上貼了反光物料，無法看清其面容，亦沒有配戴委任證。這有機會違反《警察通例》(20-14)各項中，市民提出要求，至少有一名軍裝警務人員應出示委任證，才可執行職務。

在2019年9月3日，有人包圍旺角警署，警方多次發射布袋彈驅散，有人懷疑被擊中受傷。另外一名男子在太子港鐵站被六名警員制服，頭部受傷送廣華醫院，現時情況穩定。
