示威者被制服後仍被速龍小隊成員以警棍扑頭，涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。而過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，亦可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。

九龍旺角聯合廣場附近，防暴警察衝入休憩區揮動警棍打市民(包括長者)並擊中現場一位社工頭部。及後另一名社工在旺角等待救護車到場處理被防暴警察打傷頭部之社工時，在與防暴警察理論期間，卻遭警員突然近距離噴射胡椒噴霧。
