在2019年9月22日，有警員在彌敦道上發難，其中一名警員突然大叫「邊個再嘈影住佢」，然後就衝向在行人路上的一名市民，並與多名警員衝上，並指「係咪你嘈、係咪你嘈」，警員隨即上前拉走被指「嘈」的市民到馬路上。隨即警員又推撞在場拍攝的記者，並噴射胡椒噴劑，包括多名記者、救護及路人被射中。
