一批防暴警察突然衝出圍捕太古港鐵站的示威者，在康怡花園出口施放催淚彈，一批警員持警棍追截逃入港鐵站的示威者，在扶手電梯混戰，情況混亂。
有警員及示威者在電梯跌倒，部分人被警員制服，按在地上再拘捕。出口位置亦有多名示威者被警員制服及拘捕，被逐一帶上警車。

10 月 7 號晩，警方在空蕩的旺角彌敦道上驅趕，甚至在無搜查令下跑到私人物業欲上樓拉人，又無故以盾牌及警棍驅趕記者，使其不能進行拍攝。

防暴警察沒有配戴委任證，這有機會違反《警察通例》(20-14)各項中，市民提出要求，至少有一名軍裝警務人員應出示委任證，才可執行職務。
