鄭凱淇係香港警察嘅一份子，佢係2020-03-25確診患上武漢肺炎。 佢前一日（2020-03-24）係明愛醫院接受抽血檢查嘅時候咳嗽，然後拒絕遵從在場醫護人員指示，戴上口罩防止傳染病毒，最終令其中一名負責嘅抽血員出現肺炎病徵，詳見經濟日報及自由亞洲電台報道。 根據讀者及其他Telegram頻道資料，佢曾經患有精神分裂症，2015年前會恆常覆診，但2015年後就未再跟進。
