曹達明係一名撐警藍絲，支持香港警察使用暴力對待市民。根據讀者資料，佢經常參與撐警遊行活動，而且佢嘅撐警思想由來已久，2014年傘革命時期，佢曾參與拆除金鐘道路障的行動，被傳媒拍到涉叉頸襲擊佔領人士，又試過係尖沙咀集會涉襲擊被捕，亦因此有傷人案底。佢係心臓病患者，需定期到診所覆診和食藥。日常生活方面，佢每日16:30會去到到柴灣易石油器站入氣後交更，間中與老婆去深水灣沙灘游水。
