余家宝為香港警察的一份子。據一手資料指出，佢曾經係就讀中學時，強逼一名未滿16歲的女同學與其發生性關係，又曾經強逼另一名女同學為佢係後樓梯口交，但行事期間東窗事發。現任妻子就係係警隊認識，奉子成婚。現時佢經常指好想係示威現場毆打示威者，但無奈佢屬情報組，暫時無法到現場。亦有另一讀者指出，佢曾經有份參與2014年雨傘革命罷課，並係校內分享支持抗爭者嘅言論。
