在影片可見不斷以強光射向記者阻撓採訪。有數名警員持長盾向前衝出，然後退後，疑似企圖驅散在場工作的記者。涉嫌違反警察通例 (39-05)，警務人員應盡可能協助新聞媒體工作者的採訪工作。

片段0：55所見，有一群警員在往記者相反方向撤離時，有一名警員向在場記者表示要他們後退，並沒有配戴委任證。這有機會違反《警察通例》(20-14)各項中，市民提出要求，至少有一名軍裝警務人員應出示委任證，才可執行職務。無理要求記者後退，這亦有機會構成妨礙記者採訪。跟據警察通例 (39-05)，警務人員應盡可能協助新聞媒體工作者的採訪工作。

林加榮係香港警察嘅一份子。佢曾經係2019年6月9日執勤期間受傷，獲時任警務署署長盧偉聰慰問，見下圖：據認識佢嘅人指出，佢係中國大陸出身，講廣東話時有鄉音，又係共產黨忠實粉絲，成日讚揚國家偉大，擁護共產黨。佢又經常揚言話示威者係「廢青、垃圾、暴徒」，要打死佢地，更表示希望共產黨快啲收返香港，實行獨裁統治。
