高文迪係香港警察嘅一份子。佢曾經係天水圍警署外煙花襲擊市民事件後，係警署外試圖向示威者解釋，當時被指表現克制，但佢其後又係Facebook大肆指責示威者，見下圖：據知情人士指，佢嘅人緣非常之差，就任警察後自以為高人一等，習慣問朋友借錢四處結識異性，其他人都接受唔到佢嘅行為。

從影片可見，警員以警棍追打數位未有還手、正向後撤退之女示威者，其中黑衣女示威者被多次擊打背部，白衣女示威者手臂被擊中。這涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。而過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，亦可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。

奧朗臣係一名親中派嘅人。佢曾係Facebook轉發親中專頁抹黑香港電台嘅資訊，見下圖：根據昔日紀錄，佢嘅親中思想由來已久，而佢亦因此經常惹事生非。佢曾經係2014年10月係旺角街頭踢毀屬於法輪功的一張枱，同月又係朗豪坊外對旺角示威者多次聲稱：「邊個出馬路就打邊個」
