片中顯示民眾平靜之際，白衫加黑背心人士 (懷疑是便衣警察) 突然施襲，在毫無預警下胡亂向民眾頭部施放胡椒噴霧。這涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。而過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，亦可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。

郭芷菁為香港警察的一份子。他曾擔任防暴警察，以下為當時所拍攝的圖片：據讀者資料，他自2014年起已經不停指責香港人係暴徒，現時亦會隨機找其他人挑起事端，指罵他人是「廢青」。他家中有一隻購自中國的雪橇犬，違法偷運至香港。亦有其他親近人士指出，他個人控制慾相當強，要支配自己的伴侶。
