張朗軒係香港警察嘅一份子。 佢鍾意上Facebook發表支持香港警察嘅言論，更有份向政府舉報同情示威者嘅中學同學。 據知情人士指出，佢係中學時伙同另一現任警察關霆康係校內欺凌其他同學。2014年時已經靠同為警察嘅父親，依關係成為警察。 日常生活方面，佢經常出現係將軍澳坑口Physical，間中會同同事嫖妓。

九龍旺角聯合廣場附近，防暴警察衝入休憩區揮動警棍打市民(包括長者)並擊中現場一位社工頭部。及後另一名社工在旺角等待救護車到場處理被防暴警察打傷頭部之社工時，在與防暴警察理論期間，卻遭警員突然近距離噴射胡椒噴霧。
